Best Motor was founded in 1990 by Zapi. Already from the start, the company has been focused on production of motors specific for electric vehicles.

The company has quickly increased its production capacity, thus achieving a range of more than 1.000 different models, also thanks to constant research and development.

Best Motor has a global presence thanks to the distribution net of the Zapi Group, with subsidiaries and dealers all around the world.

Since 2013 the production range includes permanent magnets synchronous motors.

Today Best Motor has a position of leadership in the European market of electric motors for electric vehicles (both 100% electric and hybrid) and exports worldwide. The company is anyway able to offer highly customized solutions, taylor made on customers’ requirements, even for vehicles produced in medium/small series.

Best Motor is located in Soliera (Modena), between the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in the heart of Po valley, the facility has a good logistic location with easy access to the highways A1 and A22.
